POSITION SUMMARY

Be part of the Market Research Agency (MRA) team at Dynata leading a team of talented salespeople; help them achieve success and develop in a fast-paced environment contributing to the continued growth of our most successful segment.

As an EMEA Sales Director, your role is to ensure profitable and sustainable business growth of a defined set of customers and prospects handled by a team of talented salespeople across EMEA. You take responsibility for defining and executing sales strategies, contributing to the company Go-To-Market initiatives, for bringing the best value to our customers, and for unlocking the potential of your team through coaching and development, helping them thrive in a context of company transformation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These include the following, other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management in the context of the role:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the Go-To-Market of the company to hit monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets associated with your team.
  • Help your team define their business priorities and execute quarterly and weekly reviews to monitor individual sales performance, and help them grow their pipeline.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through participating in client meetings, engaging in social media, and attending conferences or events.
  • Master Dynata products, services, pricing, and how to apply these to satisfy client needs and fulfill project requirements.
  • Seek competitive insights and intelligence to inform the company of challenges and opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Ensure company priorities are understood and executed, and help your team execute the company transformation initiatives.
  • Lead and develop your team members through career development initiatives, identify learning opportunities and knowledge gaps, and regularly engage in career conversations.
  • Support company-wide initiatives aimed at making Dynata a great place to work, through attention to Diversity and Inclusion, mental health, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Perform all required administrative and reporting tasks assigned to Sales Directors and ensure these are always executed by team members under your lead, including invoicing management, forecasting, and weekly reporting.
  • Act as backup to Sales Director/Managers with clients and/or internal meetings when the Director/Manager is away.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Be an enabler for other people under your lead to thrive in a context of transformation and evolution.

Strong Client Relationship Management - Candidates should have experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Expertise in Market Research &/or Insights is preferred. In addition to the key experience features, candidates with a background in the Market Research industry are highly encouraged to apply. Your understanding of the landscape, coupled with your sales expertise, will be invaluable in driving our business growth and shaping our sales strategies.

Expertise in Insights Solutions is preferred. Understands business strategy and processes while able to apply to local objectives. Able to prioritize effectively in complex and fast-changing environments.

Teamwork - Ability to work effectively independently and harmoniously within a team while communicating a "can do" attitude and positive outlook. Willing to pitch in and do more than is required.
