About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for a talented Senior Marketer to join and make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Senior Brand Manager - Mayo & Condiments position lies within the Northern Europe business unit based in the Shard, London and is part of the Sauces team. You will be reporting into the Sauces Marketing Manager, working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level and you will have a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders as well as external agencies.

In this role, you will be looking after two of the most exciting portfolios within the iconic Heinz brand, Mayonnaise & Modern Condiments. Together with your team, you will be responsible to drive one of the top growing categories within the sauces portfolio, being responsible of the core brand and communication plan from strategy to best-in-class in-market execution. Over the next few years, you will be pivotal to the success of the category, taking the brand to the next level!

In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and evolution of the core category long term growth strategy alongside the Marketing Manager and Total Sauces team to accelerate growth for the Northern-Europe business
  • Collaborating with Category Development, Sales, Finance, Consumer Insights, R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain as well as the European zone to drive the business towards the set growth targets
  • Developing a deep understanding of the consumer and leveraging consumer insights to drive brand equity, through the delivery of best-in-class brand and communication projects across Paid, Owned and Earned media
  • Working in conjunction with the Media Marketing Manager, owning the paid media plan and execution for your category, partnering with our agencies to drive outstanding work.
  • Driving an integrated comms and media approach, incorporating Away from Home, Shopper, E-comm and Digital into 360 campaign plans in alignment with the long term strategy and brand objectives
  • Working in partnership with the sauces Commercial and Category Development team to ensure strong in market execution and commercial rigour of the core, to deliver results
  • Supporting the Brand Manager (Innovation) to develop and drive strategic innovation projects contributing to overall category growth
  • Line management of the Junior Brand Manager

Qualifications
Hard Skills

  • Strong and proven experience with consumer understanding: ability to understand a consumer insight, spot consumer needs, trends and market dynamics and generate answers for them.
  • Experience in communication plans: ability to project manage a comms plan from creative to media execution and to manage creative, PR and media agencies. Proven experience to deliver effective PR plan is a plus.
  • Strong commercial and P&L understanding
  • People management experience is ideal
