About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of marketing for the UK, developing and implementing a comprehensive growth plan for the market across all channels/parts of the funnel. Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver, implement and fully own a comprehensive marketing strategy for the market, encompassing ATL (TV, Radio, Print, OOH, etc), all key digital marketing channels (such as PPC, SEO, Display/Programmatic, Affiliation, Paid & Organic social media), Sponsorships, and CRM.
  2. Deliver and manage monthly and annual forecasting/budgeting, set clear KPIs and hit growth targets focusing on profitability/ROI.
  3. Ideate, implement, optimise and analyse retention and acquisition promotions across sportsbook, horseracing, and casino, optimizing bonus costs & ensuring ROI.
  4. Develop comprehensive reporting and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track marketing effectiveness, optimize campaigns, and report on results to the executive team.
  5. Work closely, oversee, and direct external agencies ranging from media planning/buying to SEO, programmatic/display, etc.
  6. Manage and optimize current partnerships and identify new opportunities.
  7. Work closely with all central teams such as Marketing, Product, Operations, and Data & BI teams to deliver the best possible customer experience.
  8. Ensure all marketing and advertising activities are fully compliant with UK gambling legislation and are socially responsible.
  9. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer insights, market trends, and competitor strategies, and use these insights to inform marketing strategies.
  10. Structure, recruit, lead and coach a high-performing marketing function, ensuring individuals are engaged, inspired and supported to over-achieve against company and personal objectives.

Requirements:
  1. At least 5 years of experience in the gambling industry in similar senior marketing roles.
  2. Online gambling experience in a UK market is a must.
  3. Proven track record of managing multimillion pound marketing budgets and growing a UK facing online gambling B2C business.
  4. Proven experience in setting up and growing customer acquisition, retention, and brand programmes.
  5. Be commercially and analytically minded, using both quantitative and qualitative data sources to drive decisions to successfully generate results.
  6. 'Big-picture' marketing expert, mindful of the whole customer path from awareness to advocacy, but you must be able to roll up your sleeves and actively manage campaigns.
  7. Ability to adapt quickly and comfortable dealing with fast paced / start-up environments.
  8. Passionate, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trust.
  9. Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
