Description:

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing marketing strategies to expand the company's marketing efforts and increase revenue. Leading the marketing for the company to ensure successful implementation of the marketing plan, creation, and production of marketing materials, both printed and digital. Monitoring customer and market data to identify trends and growth opportunities as well as evaluating results of marketing campaigns and adjusting as required.

Context

Based in London to report to the CEO with a strong link to supporting and working closely with the Head of Sales & Account Management. The role has autonomy for generating sales leads through various marketing methods and is responsible for the marketing budgets and line management of a small team.

Key responsibilities
  • Responsibility for delivering all marketing activities detailed in the Business Plan
  • Prepares the strategy and manages the marketing plans and budget
  • Ensures the marketing department meets agreed KPIs, especially MQLs and SQLs
  • Delivers multi-channel campaigns supported by market research to position OryxAlign as a thought leader on topical subjects
  • Maintains a strong sales focus and works closely with the Head of Sales to generate new business opportunities and initiatives with new and existing clients
  • Oversees the production of sales/marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content
  • Maintains, manages, and develops the corporate website in collaboration with 3rd party providers
  • Manages regular marketing campaigns to clients and prospects
  • In collaboration with the Head of Sales, explore ways of improving the position of existing services and bringing new services to market
  • Collaborates with our industry vendors and partners for joint marketing ventures
  • Identifies new target markets and develops strategies to communicate with them
  • Oversees and manages the company's presence on social media, ensuring the brand is best positioned
  • Head of Marketing is responsible for the content and delivery of client and prospect newsletters
  • Acts as the liaison between marketing and design agencies, print suppliers, freelance talent, and various 3rd party marketing services
  • Is responsible for event management and associated logistics in collaboration with others

Experience and expertise
  • Working experience within the technology services sector is essential
  • A proven background in delivering successful marketing
  • Excellent time management and planning skills to ensure workload priority and multi-task
  • Able to meet multiple deadlines and demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in sales, marketing and business administration or a related subject
  • Intermediate technical skills in HubSpot, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Marketing Tools (GA4), etc.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
