Sales Engineer

Internal Sales Engineer required for our highly respected and well established client based near Hagley, Stourbridge. Specialising in providing innovative building controls and energy management solutions, our client has developed state of art technology to address the needs of our clients and won a number of prestigious awards for both our product innovation and application of controls to buildings.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Sales Engineer, with knowledge of electrical products to join the team due to experiencing a period of sustained growth. We are seeking to recruit an internal sales engineer to sell our range of C Squared natural ventilation control products.

The successful applicant for this role will ideally have had an electrical or Electrical Wholesalers background selling electrical products and knowledge of building services experience.

You will need to be adaptable, with an ability to embrace a new approach to the role. In-house and BCIA training will be given if necessary. This is an office-based position, but a willingness to visit clients after initial training will be encouraged.

Duties & Responsibilities include

• Handling of pre-sales enquiries, verbal and email
• Take off from drawings
• Preparation of quotations
• Preparation of schematic drawings
• Liaising with consulting engineers
• Handling customer queries technical and commercial
• Obtaining quotations /ordering for outsourced products

Ideally Skills & Experience to include

• Knowledge of Electrical or Electronic products
• Knowledge of controls / Building Management Systems advantageous
• Previous B2B Sales Experience

Working hours - 39 hours Monday to Friday
