Working Hours:

  • Term Time: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • School Holidays: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic team, specializing in education recruitment. You will manage a secondary school desk, covering the Nottingham and Mansfield areas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment, strong knowledge of the education sector, and excellent client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Secondary Desk: Oversee recruitment activities for secondary schools in Nottingham and Mansfield, maintaining relationships with schools and candidates.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify, engage, and place qualified teachers and support staff into appropriate roles.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with school leaders, understanding their staffing needs and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Business Development: Actively seek out new opportunities to grow the business, expanding client and candidate databases.
  • Compliance: Ensure all candidates meet legal and regulatory compliance, including safeguarding checks and right-to-work documentation.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on trends and changes in the education sector to better support schools and candidates.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the education sector. Experience managing a secondary desk is a bonus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with schools, candidates, and internal teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple clients and candidates efficiently, meeting deadlines and targets.
  • IT Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other recruitment software.
  • Education Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of the challenges and needs within secondary education recruitment.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, meet targets, and grow your desk with minimal supervision.
