The role

They are looking for an experienced automotive Parts Advisor to join their Parts department at their Jaguar Land Rover showroom in York. You will work 45 hours per week on a rota basis covering the business hours of Monday to Friday between 7:45 am and 6pm. In addition, you will work 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8:30 am to 1pm. The Parts Advisor duties and responsibilities are:

  • To serve and issue stock to both internal & external customers ensuring the parts department standards are met.
  • To receive, correctly identify and warehouse incoming stock and to advise management if stock is low.
  • Ensuring best practice housekeeping standards are kept for both stores and retail section of the Parts Department.
  • Ensuring promotions and practices produced by Parts Management are promoted when speaking to customers.
  • To participate in the annual formal stock check

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Parts experience within the motor industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • IT Literate
  • Numeracy skill
