The Role:

In the role of eCommerce Trading Manager, you'll working on the day to day of online trading operations, leading on the management of the new Ecommerce platform. The team is growing as the D2C offering of this existing and renowned business develops. We are looking for this role to develop commercial success by crafting and executing onsite strategies that ensure an exceptional customer journey.

This role would be perfect for someone who has worked in a similar role or is looking for a step up and a chance to develop and grow your CV and portfolio. This is a developing team with a supportive manager who will take your career to the next level.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Content & eCommerce Manager to shape the trading calendar
  • Overseeing website merchandising, from product placement to content alignment, to maximise engagement and sales
  • Spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing the online shopping experience, focusing on CX, UX, search functionality, and checkout optimisation
  • Assisting the Content & eCommerce Manager in deploying and refining marketing tactics to boost traffic
  • Conducting regular site audits to catch and report bugs to our web development partner

Candidate Criteria:

  • Previous experience within similar role or looking for step up into Manager position
  • Experience within B2B and B2C trading
  • Strong experience optimising ecommerce platforms
  • Experience within website management and eCommerce sales growth
  • Track record of optimising Conversion Rate (CVR) and Average Order Value (AOV)
  • In-depth understanding of Customer Experience (CX) principles
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and eCommerce platforms like Umbraco or similar
  • Must have experience using Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of demand generation and optimising inbound traffic from Organic, Earned, Paid Media, and CRM channels
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies
