Job Description:

As a Recruitment Consultant specialising in social care, you will play a pivotal role in matching talented individuals with rewarding positions within the social care industry. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing candidates in a variety of roles, including social workers, care managers, support workers, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and candidates within the social care sector.
  • Source and attract top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and suitability for available positions.
  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including candidate interviews, reference checks, and contract negotiations.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to candidates throughout the hiring process and beyond.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to effectively advise clients and candidates.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, preferably within the social care or healthcare sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and candidates.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach, with a passion for helping others achieve their career goals.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing the social care industry (e.g., safeguarding, GDPR).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
