Position Overview:To actively ensure that the sales admin and associated process are adhered to, collating and processing quotes and ensuring that all departments internally have the information to proceed with a smooth installation covering the whole sales process prior to being handed over to the operations team.The role is an essential part of the sales team; and will include confirming appointments, ensuring that the sales department runs smoothly, establishing relationships with our customers with the ultimate aim of improving the sales admin process, documenting processes and recording contacts for the Sales team to follow up in more detail. You may also be asked to get involved in the administration and travel arrangements for appointments.

Main job functions:

  • To arrange appointments, ensure that literature is sent on time to potential clients.
  • To keep the CRM and other databases used to record client data, in line with GDPR guidelines, ensuring that appointments and information are accurately added to the relevant systems and following up with email correspondence in a timely manner,
  • To ensure that all enquiries are responded to in a timely manner in line with our agreed response times, setting reminders and being proactive to ensure we are responsive to our clients needs at all times
  • Develop presentations for client meetings and ensure that the Head of Key Accounts has all the paperwork and background information for each client meeting
  • Attending meetings as and when required in a support capacity, to ensure all presentations set up and that the meetings run smoothly
  • Dealing with customer queries via email and phone and taking ownership of the sales admin process
  • Cold calling and information gathering exercises, researching
  • Attending in house sales meetings and taking the minutes, ensuring that tasks are documented and allocated to the right people internally, enthusiastically participating in meetings and adding value as and when you see the opportunity to do so

Experience/qualifications required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate and tech savvy, able to collate data and put together engaging presentations
  • Punctual, reliable with a good understanding of the sales lifecycle and business basics
  • A degree in business management or equivalent experience of working in a similar role having worked in a sales team as a sales administrator or similar
  • Interest in EV charging as an industry and a can-do attitude, someone who will work as part of a small team to ensure that all tasks are completed and that the Head of Key Accounts is supported at all times
  • Customer focused and a keen eye for detail
